Terms of Membership, Events & Website Use

Welcome to www.KosherWineSociety.com, the official website of The Kosher Wine Society! The following terms and conditions are your agreement with us, so please take a moment or two to review everything below. If you attend a KWS event or purchase a KWS membership, this will entail your adherence to of all of the terms and conditions listed within this Agreement. We may revise this Agreement, the contents of its website(s), and any of our rules at any time, without notice to its members, attendees, or web users. Therefore, please check back from time to time regarding such changes. Also, please note that you must be at least 21 years of age to attend a KWS event or become a member. You may also be subject to additional State and/or Federal rules and regulations pertaining to liquor consumption, not listed below. This Agreement will continue until terminated by KWS. We reserve the right to deny website access, membership, or event attendance to anyone if we believe that person is in violation of our rules, policies, and/or terms & conditions.

Events

KWS holds a variety of events from time to time at different locations and venues, and may co-host events with its affiliates or with other organizations. We will list most of these events on our website, so please check with us on a regular basis to find out what's going on. Remember--you must be over the age of 21 to attend any KWS event! You also need to abide by all rules, regulations, and policies of KWS and any other organization which may co-host an event. There may also be rules and policies of the venue where events are hosted. as well as other applicable Federal and State laws pertaining to the use of liquor. We urge you to abide by everything! Event Refund Policy
KWS has a firm policy regarding issuing refunds for cancellation after purchase of a ticket to any KWS event.

1. If you cancel with at least 36 hours notice before a KWS event, you will receive a full refund for the amount paid for the event.
2. If you cancel 24 hours before the event, a 50% credit will be applied to your purchase price as a partial refund; and
3. If you cancel less than 24 hours before any KWS event, NO issuance of any refund will be given SO PLEASE CANCEL IN ADVANCE!

KWS Membership

Membership with KWS entitles you to the benefits listed on our website, which may be revised from time to time. Membership is for one (1) year only, and must thereafter be renewed annually. KWS will notify current members of any price changes, as necessary. KWS reserves the right to change the prices, terms, and benefits of membership at any time without necessarily notifying our website users. Money Back Guarantee

• Membership Purchase
  Membership with KWS has a thirty (30) day money-back guarantee. If after purchasing a KWS membership and you don't believe you are getting your fare share of value you are entitled to a full refund.
• Membership Purchase With an Event
  If you purchase a membership at the same time as an event, in order to receive the special membership price for an event, and you decide to cancel such membership, the refund you are entitled to is the total cost (Membership plus Member event fee) minus the cost of a non-member event fee.

KWS reserves the right to process any refunds us to 5 weeks before issuing a refund.

Ownership & Intellectual Property

The KWS website, and any related or affiliated websites, and all its material, information, images, pictures, designs, video clips, and concepts are owned by KWS. These are all protected by all applicable intellectual property laws and regulations including copyright, trademark, and trade dress in the United States and worldwide, forever. The Kosher Wine Society and its logo are trademarks owned by KWS. Unless specifically permitted in writing, you may not copy, publish, distribute, or create other derivative, artistic works based on any of the materials or information owned by us, whether on our website, or otherwise distributed.

Content

You agree that any use of KWS website and all its content, information, images, pictures, video clips, and other materials contained therein shall be for your personal, non-commercial use only. We make no guarantees of the accuracy of the information relating to its products or to wine and spirits, events or other organizations it describes, or any other matters. In other words, if there are any errors or omissions on its website(s), you can let us know, and we will try to correct it as best we can. But we make no assurances the information we provide is perfect. We may also revise or update the site at any time. Remember also that KWS does not have any responsibility or liability for other parties' websites to which it may link. A link to another site does not mean we endorse the views, content, or policies of that site. If you click on a link, you take responsibility for entering that website.

User Content & Submission

Please remember, however, that any user comments, suggestions, ideas and other materials provided to KWS whether through this site, by email, or otherwise, is KWS' property. We don't have any obligation to respond to these submissions or compensate any user or member for any suggestion, idea, or material provided us. In other words, any submission you make, you are freely giving to us, and You agree that you will not make submissions containing any defamatory, libelous, abusive or obscene material, or violate anyone else's intellectual property or rights of privacy!

General Disclaimers

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold KWS and its affiliates, employees, and officers harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, costs and expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising from or related to your use of the website.

Miscellaneous

These terms and conditions are effective unless and until terminated by either you or KWS. If you terminate, you need to cancel your membership, refrain from using this site, and promptly destroy any and all images, software, video clips, designs, pictures, or materials obtained from KWS' website(s) or otherwise. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of New York City to whose jurisdiction both parties consent to.
